Some of the interpretion of the Sontong language..

Sontong: My nephew went to Greek last week!
English: My nephew went to Greece last week!

Sontong: Ah boy, one plate of Sontong char belacan!
English (rojak): Ah boy, one plate of Sotong char belacan!

Sontong: Aiyo, rather than going to Form 6, my daughter go streamyx!
English: Aiyo, rather than going to Form 6, my daughter go matriks (matriculation).

Sontong: Adik, minta sudu dengan garpuk sama tapak satu set lagi!
BM: Adik, minta sudu dengan garpu dan pinggan satu lagi!
