An Imaginary Friend

everyone has an imaginary friend.
a friend that follows us everywhere.
a voice in our head that helps us in difficult moments.
a real friend.
a friend that will never betray you.
And at that instant, i heard myself.....
The past does not equal the future, what happens tomorrow depends on what i do now...

Hey there, it's been a while..
I'm not gonna lie, these past few weeks hasnt been doing me any good.. sighs.. Pressured by the fact that there's Bangsawan, then there's studies, and maths, and DoE and Chinese New Year and what? My results are coming out tomorrow??? Man, time flies.... before i know it, i'm already in my last semester this year.... How Time flies..
 I dont like to procrastinate, but truth speaks, sometimes things get out of hand, and i make excuses of them... to shove some of the weakness.. some of the defects, some of the pain, the pressure, the loneliness.. i give in easily to games, chats, entertainment, sharing, helping, organizing, and all sorts of other things to do ..
And yet here i am, sitting in the rc, blogging.. hahahhaah, maybe it hasnt hit me hard enough yet, but NO, i dont want that, i dont want to change, i want to IMPROVE! i dont want to be nerdy and studious, 24/7 on books, i dont want to miss hanging out with my friends, owh such great friends they are, i dont want to be KiaSu, though i know THAT's what i really need to do now.. BUT i DONT.. sighs, .... ...

so here's what im doing for now, i'm gonna live my life to the fullest, make the best out of it, in my own way... somehow... i know i can do it... i do... Now Doe's gone, and CNY is just around the corner.. this is my time to grasp myself together.. wow, that felt soo much better! it's always good to share your thoughts.. hehee..

Hey, wassup? i hope things are fine regardless that you're new in town. Welcome by the way, welcome to this life, the life of joanna.
Well, joanna's life is pretty much simple. she eats, she sleeps, she goes to college, she hangs out with her friends and she watches lots and lots of tv. Her needs are simple, she doesnt smoke, she's nice and she's happy.
But recently as 2008 passed, she had a sense of realization in her. A little scary, taunting, but yet it opened her eyes, and made it all clear.... She told me this just today, but i think i might share it with you, since you're new and i really think it would do you good!
What she told me today, was about her friends... She has loooots of friends, all over Malaysia, from primary school to college and they all come in different shapes and sizes, and colorful personalities!
She has 'BFF' friends... The ones where she'd pour her feelings out to. The ones who'd comfort her when she's sad. Ones who hang out with her, and know all about her life, what's going on and stuff. Ones who she can depend on, ones whom she trusts, believes and loves. These are the ones that she loves most, and she cared about them deeply in her heart.
She has 'BF' friends... Ones who she'll hang out most with. Ones who basically know her inside out, understand her character, and doesnt mind much about who's paying the bill. Ones who she can be honest with, ones who will teach her new things, and tell her jokes. These are the ones she adores, she loves, and she wants to cling on to them for life...
She has close friends... The ones whom she'd go out with, for drinks and shopping. Ones whose presents' she'd share. Ones who make her laugh and nice to chat with. Ones whom she gossips with, and do crazy stuff together. These are the ones that she treasures, and appreciate gratefully...
She has hee-hee friends.. The ones whom she'd say 'hi' to if they met her/vice versa. Ones who smile when she sees them. Ones who will greet her, and ask her about her life. Ones who will message her sometimes, to tell her what's up, and who would stop by her blog just to catch up on stuff. These are the ones that kept her connected, and she'd have them close to her heart, all the time.
On the contrary, she also has friends who are mean to her. Friends who doesnt give a damn about her. Friends who backstab her. Friends who annoysher, and dissapoint her all the time. Friends who'd make her angry and wouldnt apologise. Friends who'd tell other friends about her secrets. Friends who'd critique her friends, friends who are rude and behave unnormally, friends who dont listen, dont bother and selfishly a hypocrite of themselves - trying to help joanna but actually making her life harder.
Yeah, i know, joanna's been through a lot eh? But, dont worry, she's strong. She appreciates all her FRIENDS! Even when they're against her, hate her, despise her, left her alone... she still keeps them as FRIENDS... She might not always make the right move or decision, but in her mind, she's always hoping for the best. And she loves every single one of her friends - no matter where or who they are..
Well 2009, i hope you're impressed. Joanna's a really nice person, and i hope you can make wonders in her life. She's making some major changes in her life now - kinda like renovating her own space, starting with her friends. So, please support her in the best way you can. I know this is a big favor to ask, but she really needs the faith..
Please, 2009, wont you be a great for her???

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! This year is definitely an important year for me, 2009.. the year of the golden ox!!! (my mum's year)
Anyway, before all that new year stuff... here's how i spent my new year's eve..
i was out with my letha, my sis and my sis's friends to catch a movie, bedtime stories when i received a message that read,
NEW YEAR"s EVE COUNTDOWN, civic center, 7.30 pm, from: mum
clueless, this is definitely last minute.. go i went home and got changed.. and my destination was...
LINKS civic center.. wow... this is too much... too much, but im going in anyway.. haha..
 the ambiance is nice.. damn cold... lots of people.. classy people!!
 the setting is nice.. the place is just right for a new year's party...
 from the top, u can have the view of KUCHING.. soo nice.. even the fireworks are visible just above the smaller buildings way down below.. it's soo high up and beautiful..
 even the ceilings are decorated with balloons.. pretty!!
 and there's live band playing... singing songs.. her Eng was, not that good.. "...im big GIRLS nowsss.s....and big girls dont cry....."
 even the coke and the cili was evenly cut into proper pieces.. wow... the coke tasted.. like GOOD coke.. not like the on in KFC....
 the view is just spectacular. it's a nice restaurant, fancy for dinners, parties and such.. i highly recommend it to those who's rich and favors classy places..
"the food, was just okay.. not bad, not good, but so-so, ...the duck was exceptional, the cold plate was DAMN GOOD!! the rest... okay la.. but i gotta say.. the service was damn BAD!!>. there're like soo many waiters/waitressesssssss?? but they're all UNSURE of which table ... and the FOOD was soo slow.. i waited like 1 hour + + before i get to eat... sighs.. that's the thing they should improve!! ...."
But dinner there on new year's eve was nice.. i enjoyed most of it..
Phew, after that, i got away, thanks to stel, to living room!! yays! got to meet lots of ppl thr.. my boss, friends, junk ppl... blablabla ppl... so nice.. Going back to living room is always nice!
 pretty candle and ferns on the table, we sat at the long house..
 balloons!!! helium-filled balloons that actually floated! we were given a bunch (14 balloons) by the waiter. we didnt know what to do so we borrowed a pen from a different waiter and wrote our wishes on em... 6 for each of us... and the extra 2 we brought back home.. we let the balloon wishes off into the air before we went back... so nice!!
 stella... drunk... hahaha maybe not..
And that's how i spent my New YEar's Eve!! Bye bye 2008, and helloooo 2009.. whee!!
